Hello October: Bring a Little Fall Into Your Home

Hello October: Bring a Little Fall Into Your Home

October is here, and I’m ready for cozy evenings, a favorite sweatshirt, and a house that smells like fall.

There’s something about this time of year that makes staying home a little more inviting. A warm cup of coffee, something good on television, and a favorite scent in the wax warmer. Nothing fancy. Just those little things that make you happy to be home.

If you’re ready to change up your scents for the season, here are a few Country Soul Scents favorites to help you get started.

For the Apple and Pumpkin Lovers

Some of us start reaching for apple and pumpkin scents before the calendar even says fall. I get it.

Baked Apple Pie is an easy choice when you want that familiar, fresh-from-the-oven feeling without actually getting out the rolling pin. Pumpkin Apple brings two fall favorites together, while Pumpkin Cookies is one to reach for when you’re in the mood for something sweet.

These are the kinds of scents I think of for a slow weekend at home, especially when it’s chilly enough to pull out a blanket.

For Something Cozy Beyond the Kitchen

You don’t have to love bakery scents to enjoy fall fragrance.

Bonfire Linen has been a customer favorite, and Sweater Weather fits right into the season. If your idea of cozy is settling into your favorite chair with a book, The Book Nook deserves a spot on your list, too.

There’s room for more than pumpkin on the fall scent shelf.

A Couple of New Scents to Get to Know

I’ve also added Sandalwood Vanilla and Ruby Smoke to the Country Soul Scents lineup.

Sandalwood Vanilla pairs sandalwood and vanilla for those who enjoy a warm, softer scent. Ruby Smoke brings dark cherry and warm woods together for something a little different.

If you’ve been reaching for the same fragrance for a while, October is a good excuse to try a new one.

Start With What You Enjoy

Picking a fall scent doesn’t need to be complicated. Think about what you already love. Is it apples baking, something sweet, or a warm woodsy fragrance?

Start there. You can swap scents as your mood changes, too. Coffee House one morning, Pumpkin Cookies over the weekend, and something softer when you’re winding down.

Our soy wax melts are dye-free and hand-poured by Country Soul Scents. Each full-size melt comes in a 2.5 oz, six-cavity clamshell, ready for your wax warmer.
